Empties #3

After a very long time, I will be posting my empties blog (yep they had gotten huge). It’s a wonderful way to write so many product reviews in one post. Now without further ado, let’s start

  • Vaadi Herbals 3 in 1 sunscreen cream spf 25: This is the product I have already reviewed it on my blog. Although it provided the white cast and took a great deal of effort in blending onto my skin. But it did work well for me. (Click here for detailed review)
  • Keya seth Aromatherapy Hair spa for dry and damaged hair: In my hair care routine post, I had showed how I used this product for my dry, frizzy hair and I must say that I absolutely adore this product. ( click here for my routine)
  • Acnes hydrating toner: The product was also reviewed on my blog (click her for detailed post) I thoroughly enjoyed using this product onto my skin. But there are other skin toners in the market I would like to try. I won’t be repurchasing it.
  • Acnes Moisturizing lotion: For an oily skinned girl, moisturization is also important despite the grease ball they become at the end of the day. Honestly speaking, there are very rare moisturizers available in the market for oily skin. This lotion worked wonders on my skin. Its amazing as it moisturized my skin without making it too oily.
  • Salveo Life sciences Anti dandruff cleanser: I don’t usually suffer from dandruff but when monsoon arrives so does my seberrhoea along with hairfall and dryness. This shampoo definitely cleared the dandruff but it didn’t cure it. I had to pair it with Ketoconazole shampoo. Although it softened my hair but hairfall didn’t reduce. Hence, I won’t be purchasing it.
  • Dove nourishing secrets healthy rituals for growing hair: I had used this shampoo and did a detailed blog post on it. (click here) oh how I desperately wanted this product to finish. It was a complete disappointment for me and I hated it.
  • Aroma musk Sesame hair oil: I had bought this product from Amazon and do I love it. I completely enjoyed it. It had no fragrance and the texture of this oil was very thick. While mixing it with castor oil, it helped in my hairfall. I just loved using it.
  • Fair and Lovely ayurvedic fairness cream: Before this product got transformed to Glow and lovely, I had bought this cream as a simple day cream since I was running short of time. Out of other Fair and lovely range, this cream worked best for me.
  • Modicare Fruit of the Earth shampoo with Henna and Jojoba oil for hairfall: Although this shampoo claimed to be ayurvedic and lathered well on my hair. I could not see much difference in terms of my hair health. I won’t be repurchasing it.
  • Boro Plus Doodh Kedar Body lotion: When it comes to this brand; we all know about its famous cream and how its meant for curing dry skin conditions. When I had bought this lotion; I was expecting the same from this product too and thank goodness it stood still to my expectations. My body even during summers act as a dry barren land without any moisturization which then follows up with itching while taking the life out of me. Thank you to Dear Lord. This product helped my skin. I loved its fragrance too and I will definitely repurchase it.
  • Dove healthy rituals for growing hair shampoo: I have done a separate post of it on my blog and I would highly avoid this product.
  • Lotus Herbals Safe sun sunblock cream spf 20 PA+ : I completely adore this sunscreen. Its sweat as well as waterproof. It has never broken out on me and it blends into my skin like a charm. I will definitely repurchase it.
  • Lotus Herbals Phyto Rx Intensive anti aging serum: One of the first serums I’ve bought from our Indian market ( yep, I’ve started using face serums in my late 20s). The texture of this serum is neither too thick nor too runny. The fragrance is mild and a little goes a long way. It didn’t broke out on me but I found it to be decent.it just couldn’t shake me and wonder about benefits of applying face serums. Hence I will not be buying it.
  • Himalaya Herbals Refreshing Cleansing milk: This cleansing milk does equally better job as compared to Ayur deep pore cleansing milk. Both of them are herbal and they don’t irritate my skin. I love it.
  • Himalaya Herbals Neem Face wash: My HG neem face washes available in the market. Although my skin can never be acne free, but when I have severe breakout and I lose track of all the skincare products working for me or not. Then I start using it and it never Disappointed me.
  • Good Vibes activated charcoal deep cleansing mask: This face pack is reviewed separately on my blog and I thoroughly enjoyed using it.
  • Patanjali Aloe Vera gel: An aloe vera gel has millions of uses. I have tried it for my skin, body and hair as well. It works wonders ( ofcourse I won’t be purchasing from this brand since I’m a doctor and I now personally don’t want to endorse it).
  • Jiva Ayurveda Neem Face wash: Final empty in my blog post. I have tried various products from this skincare brand and my experience so far has been great. I have reviewed this product in detail in my Instagram blog. I have enjoyed using it and would definitely recommend it.

So Thank you people for staying till end with me. I hope these mini reviews will help you, guide you in trying out these products.

See you guys in my next post ❤💛

Lotus herbals Basiltone Cucumber & Basil Clarifying and Balancing skin toner Review

Hello my dear readers, Recently I’ve been trying a lot of skin care products for my acne prone skin & trying to see whether these work for my hormonal cystic acne or not. So this time, I’ve come up with the review of Lotus Herbals Basiltone Cucumber and Basil Clarifying and Balancing Skin toner.

Currently I’ve been using this toner for a quite sometime & I feel like this is the right time to review it.

Key ingredients and claims:

My take on the product: So as you can see the packaging of the bottle is quite good and sturdy. It’s leek proof and travel friendly. Also, a good amount of product is visible from outside. The scent of the toner is just like the smell of fresh cucumbers. When I apply this toner with the help of a cotton ball, it doesn’t give any stingy feel. Hence, it simply calms the skin. Also I don’t feel like it does anything for acne. While using it, I continued to face small whiteheads and even big pimples once in a while. In short, it didn’t provide any difference to skin. I clearly don’t recommend it to the people who suffer from oily cystic acne prone skin.

Pros: easily available; alcohol free; leak proof packaging

cons: false claims.

My rating: 🖤🖤 (2/5)

Thank you guys for reading. See you soon. 😊
